Locate Leaks on Wet, Flat-Roof Membranes with Greater Accuracy

The Wet Roof Pro2 is designed to identify and locate leaks in flat roofs with non-conductive surfaces, including hot-melt, asphalt, and single-ply roofing membranes. The system works by generating an electrical current within the water on the roof surface. When water passes through a breach in the membrane and reaches an earthed part of the structure, a circuit is completed, allowing the detector to guide the user toward the source of the leak.

Leak Detection Method

  • Uses current flow through surface moisture to trace leak paths

  • Pinpoints the source of water ingress by tracking current direction and magnitude

Use Settings

  • Designed for locating leaks in flat roofs with non-conductive membranes

  • Suitable for hot-melt, asphalt, and single-ply roofing systems

Flexible Test Settings

  • Wet sponge mode expands test capabilites to support the testing of roof edges, parapets, and other vertical surfaces

  • Adjustable output in Wet Roof mode from 12 to 32 V DC

  • Adjustable output in Wet Sponge mode from 9 to 90 V DC with preset options

  • Adjustable alarm threshold in Wet Sponge mode from 100 to 1,200 mA
