The Fisher XLT-100 Compact Acoustic Leak Detector is designed for precise underground water leak detection using a contact transducer tip and digital signal processing. It amplifies pipe vibration and displays sound levels from 0–99 on the integrated LCD for accurate field analysis.

Selectable Frequency Filters & Noise Rejection

  • 8 selectable boost/cut filters at 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000 Hz
  • Default 40 Hz – 8 kHz all-pass filter
  • Selectable 50 Hz or 60 Hz notch filtering
  • Volume control range 0–99 with mute function
  • Backlit LCD showing vibration, filter, notch, and battery status

Digital Signal Monitoring & Contact Transducer Design

The XLT-100 amplifies mechanical vibration from pipe walls and fittings through its contact transducer tip. The digital display provides real-time signal strength feedback, while notch filtering reduces power-line interference for clearer leak identification in field environments.
