Cartoli Instruments is proud to announce our partnership with Hydrajaws, Ltd. Hydrajaws Limited was established in 1960 based in Birmingham. The core business until the late 1980’s was the design and manufacture of workholding fixtures for the machine tool industry. Since then, Hydrajaws has established themselves as the premiere specialists in the development, manufacture and supply of fixings testing equipment.

Hydrajaws Limited recognized the need for a simpler method of carrying out on-site fixture testing, preferably using a single handheld unit which would have none of the problems associated with testing in locations with difficult and restricted access. At present date, Hydrajaws is the leading supplier of portable pull testers. Pull testers enable engineers to perform pull-out tests on a wide range of fasteners, fixings, safety-critical anchors, and lifeline systems to establish the holding force.

Cartoli Instruments is a recognized North America distributor of Hydrajaws, Ltd. Our stock is not limited to their best selling model, the M2000 Pull Tester Kit, but we carry their entire line of Pull Testers and accessories! The M2000 can be purchased as a Pro Tester Kit, which is complete with an assortment of accessories for a wide range of pull tests. The M2000 is also sold with individual fixings for specific projects, as well as other Pull Tester Kits.  In addition, most models are equipped with a digital gauge which is compatible with the Hydrajaws App. The Hydrajaws App is a bluetooth subscription based application that allows digital reporting of test results directly from the device to mobile devices.
