The INNO Instrument OLL-1000-652D-SC-APC is a 1000 meter single-mode launch fiber reel used during optical fiber testing with an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). The assembly incorporates G.652D single-mode fiber and SC/APC connectors to support low-reflectance measurement conditions when evaluating fiber links and connections.

Launch fiber reels are used between the OTDR and the fiber under test to allow the initial measurement pulse to stabilize before reaching the first connector. This configuration enables accurate measurement of insertion loss and reflectance at the beginning of the link.

Measurement Support in OTDR Testing
