The INNO Instrument OLL-1000-652D-SC-UPC OTDR Launch Fiber Reel provides a controlled fiber length between an optical time domain reflectometer and the fiber link under test. The device contains 1000 meters of G.652D singlemode fiber terminated with SC-UPC connectors to support OTDR event characterization at standard telecom wavelengths.

The launch fiber allows technicians to evaluate near-end and far-end connector performance by separating the measurement instrument from the first reflective event in the fiber network.
