The Banner 17268A LM5 is an adjustable on-delay logic module designed for use within Banner’s modular Multi-Beam photoelectric sensor system. Serving as the timing intelligence between the scanner block and power block, it provides reliable control where stable, delay-based activation is required in automated processes.
The LM5 ensures the sensor output activates only when a signal is consistently present for the preset delay, preventing nuisance trips caused by momentary light interruptions. This makes it ideal for applications like conveyor jam detection, where reliable timing logic is essential for uninterrupted operation.
Adjustable 0.15–15 second on-delay enables fine-tuned control based on application needs, supporting consistent and stable output performance.
Jumper-selectable light or dark operate mode provides flexibility when integrating with different Multi-Beam sensing configurations.
Rugged VALOX® housing with fully encapsulated circuitry ensures durability in industrial environments and long-term operational reliability.
