Luminance and illuminance are measured parameters in medical X-ray imaging. These measurements apply to diagnostic displays, light boxes, and ambient lighting conditions associated with image viewing.

RaySafe Xi is used for measurements in medical X-ray imaging applications and operates with external detectors. The included light detector, identified as the B Light Probe, enables luminance and illuminance measurement within this scope.
