The Thermo Scientific Niton XL2 Plus is a high-performance handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer engineered for advanced elemental analysis across a wide range of materials. With enhanced excitation power and a silicon drift detector (SDD), the XL2 Plus supports fast, repeatable analysis for demanding field and shop-floor workflows, enabling confident on-site decision-making.


Detection Modes and Analytical Scope

The Niton XL2 Plus supports multiple detection modes, each aligned to a distinct analytical workflow. When a detection mode is enabled, all associated calibrations, supported elements, and application contexts for that mode are available automatically.
