Sonatest PIM5025 2.25 MHz 0.5" Immersion Ultrasonic Transducer

The Sonatest PIM5025 is a 2.25 MHz immersion ultrasonic transducer designed for high-sensitivity flaw detection and wall thickness inspection in applications such as precision-machined parts, composite panels, and ceramic materials. Featuring a 12.7 mm (0.5") circular lead metaniobate crystal, it’s ideal for water-path scanning systems or immersion tanks using water as the couplant.

Available in standard and custom focal lengths (25.4 mm, 38.1 mm, and 50.8 mm), the PIM5025 can deliver focused signals via point or line geometries. The transducer's compression wave design and compatibility with top-mounted U-type connectors make it suitable for integration in manual and automated inspection setups.
