The Rohde & Schwarz FSH-Z14 directional power sensor enables precise forward and reflected power measurement across the 25 MHz to 1 GHz range when paired with an R&S FSH-series handheld spectrum analyzer. This in-line sensor provides real-time average power, peak envelope power, return loss, and VSWR, delivering complete RF line and antenna matching diagnostics in demanding field, broadcast, and service environments. Its integrated 1.5 m sensor cable and dual N-female connectors allow simple insertion between transmitter and antenna or a controlled load.
The FSH-Z14 supplies corrected, temperature-compensated measurement data directly to the FSH analyzer, eliminating the need for separate bench meters. Its high directivity, low insertion loss, and broad 30 mW to 300 W measurement span enable accurate verification of power delivery and load quality under operational conditions. Internal EEPROM-stored characteristics ensure long-term stability, and the sensor’s coupler and rectifier architecture support consistent results across varying modulation types, including FM, PM, FSK, GMSK, and AM.
