The Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator is a handheld utility locating receiver designed to detect and trace buried cables and pipes. When paired with the included Tx-10B transmitter, the system supports active signal application and passive signal detection for underground utility location tasks.This configuration includes a Radiodetection 4" transmitter clamp and standard connection accessories for multiple signal application methods.

The RD8200 receiver features a graphical LCD interface displaying signal strength percentage, audio output level, mode selection, and depth indication in meters. A compass-style guidance indicator assists with alignment over buried conductive utilities. The system supports transmitter-applied signals from the Tx-10B and passive electromagnetic field detection generated by energized or re-radiated sources from underground cables and pipes.
