Primayer PrimeTrace Technology Overview:

The PrimeTrace system uses hydrogen detection to locate leaks in water pipes made from any material, including plastic where traditional electro-acoustic methods may fail. A tracer gas mixture (5% hydrogen and 95% nitrogen) is introduced into the pipe, traveling with the water flow and escaping at leak points. Hydrogen’s small molecular size allows it to permeate soil or flooring, rising to the surface for detection above the leak.
