Overview

The Panametrics ABWM-7T-60° is an Accupath style shear angle-beam wedge that produces a 60° refracted shear wave in steel for weld and flaw inspections. It is designed for Accupath-case ultrasonic transducers with a 0.375″ (3/8″) nominal element. This wedge is not compatible with AWS-case or miniature-case probes.


Compatible Devices

  • Transducers: Panametrics Accupath series, 0.375″ element size (7T case)
  • Flaw Detectors: Works with any UT flaw detector that supports conventional angle-beam probes, including:
    • Olympus EPOCH series (EPOCH 600, 650, 1000i)
    • Legacy Panametrics EPOCH models (IV, V, XT)
    • Olympus OmniScan MX & MX2 (UT configurations)
    • Waygate/GE USM Go+, USM 36
