Moore Industries IPT2 current-to-pressure transmitter converts a 4-20 mA signal into a proportional 6-30 psig pneumatic output for valves, dampers, and pneumatic actuators in process control systems.
The Moore Industries IPT2 is a current-to-pressure transmitter configured to convert a 4-20 mA input into a 6-30 psig pneumatic output. It bridges electronic control systems and pneumatic final control elements by producing a proportional air signal. This configuration supports process environments using DCS, PLC, or PC-based control.
- Converts a 4-20 mA electrical input into a proportional 6-30 psig pneumatic output.- Uses a closed-loop design to respond quickly to step changes while enhancing accuracy and reducing drift.- Operates with instrument air so an electronic control signal can drive a pneumatic control signal.- Uses a larger orifice with an external plunger cleaning mechanism to help clear clogs from the air passage.
- Configured for 4-20 mA input, 6-30 psig output, and 35 psi supply pressure.- Delivers accuracy of ±0.25% of span, with six-month stability from stated accuracy.- Provides step response of less than 0.2 seconds into a 100 ml load from 10% to 90% of span.- Outputs a minimum of 2.0 SCFM while typical air consumption is 0.08 SCFM.- Operates from -40°F to 176°F and maintains negligible supply pressure effect from 20 to 40 psig steady pressure.
- Converts electronic signals from DCS, PLC, or PC systems into pneumatic control signals.- Supports pneumatic actuator control in automated process systems.- Supports pneumatic valve and damper drive control.
