The INNO Instrument SC-SM-UPC-09 is a single-mode SC/UPC splice-on connector designed for 900µm fiber termination using a fusion splicer. Supplied as a 10-pack, it enables permanent field installation without manual polishing, adhesives, or mechanical splicing methods.

This connector format integrates the splice protection within the connector body, supporting streamlined field deployment in fiber access and structured cabling environments.

Fusion Splice Termination Design

• Fusion splice-on connector (SOC) architecture
• No polishing or epoxy required
• Designed for 900µm single-mode fiber
• UPC polish with ≥55 dB return loss
• Typical insertion loss ≤0.2 dB (avg. 0.15 dB)

Mechanical and Optical Performance

The connector supports single-mode G.652D and G.657A2 fibers and is rated for tensile strength ≥25 N when used with 0.9 mm fiber. Operating temperature range is specified from -40°C to 75°C. Connector dimensions are approximately 56.3 × 8.9 × 8.1 mm.
