The INNO Instrument RS-PLUS is a manual ribbon splitter and de-ribbonizer designed for separating multi-fiber ribbon cables into smaller sub-groups or individual fibers. Its compact form factor and all-metal construction support controlled fiber preparation in fiber optic splicing workflows.

Ribbon Separation Capability

• Separates ribbon fibers into sub-groups or individual fibers
• Supports 4, 8, and 12-fiber ribbon configurations
• Compatible with silica-based fiber with UV coating
• Designed for ribbon thickness from 0.28 to 0.4 mm
• Supports 0.125 mm fiber diameter and 0.250 mm coating diameter

Mechanical Design and Construction

The RS-PLUS features an all-metal body engineered for durability in field and installation environments. Its lightweight profile (102 g) and compact dimensions allow controlled handling during ribbon preparation. Fiber guides are replaceable without tools to support different ribbon sizes.
