Sealing of hazardous conduit runs in classified areas

This fitting is used to minimize the passage of gases and vapors and to prevent the passage of flames through a conduit system in hazardous locations. The ENY-4TM is a 1-1/4 inch Duraloy iron sealing fitting with nipple for vertical or horizontal conduit installations.

Conduit sealing construction

- ENY Series sealing fitting with nipple
- 1-1/4 in hub size
- Duraloy iron construction
- Tri-coat finish with electrozinc, chromate sealant, and powder coating
- Integral bushings help protect conductor insulation

Installation format

The body is built with large openings for access to conductors during dam installation and sealing compound work. NPT tapped hubs are used to support ground continuity, and the design provides minimum turning radius for conduit layout.
