The Honeywell Kromschröder UVS 10D2 is a high-performance ultraviolet flame detector designed for reliable monitoring of gas and oil burners. How It Works

The UV tube detects ultraviolet light emitted by a flame. When UV radiation is present, the sensor converts the signal into a DC flame signal processed by the burner control unit. Because the UV tube ignores daylight, incandescent bulbs, and infrared radiation, it ensures virtually interference-free flame monitoring.

A quartz glass heat guard protects the tube from heat, moisture, and contamination, helping maintain long-term reliability.
