The GE Fanuc IC660BBA106 is a Genius series current-source analog input block designed to acquire analog current signals and transmit digital data to a connected controller. This block provides six analog input channels and is intended for use in industrial control and automation environments requiring monitored current-loop inputs.
When powered, the IC660BBA106 converts analog current signals into digital values using voltage-to-frequency conversion before transmitting data to the CPU. Conversion times are programmable from 16 ms to 400 ms, allowing configuration of input resolution and noise rejection based on application requirements.
