The GE DS200VPBLG1AFF is a VME P2 backplane board designed for use in General Electric LS2100 and Load Commutated Inverter (LCI) control systems. It functions as the central platform for distributing power and routing signals within a 13-slot industrial control rack.

Backplane Architecture and Slot Support

  • J2 section supports DSPC boards, I/O extenders, up to three FCGD boards, and one Exciter board
  • J3 section provides connections for current transformers, burden resistors, and voltage scaling feedback

The board incorporates a multilayer PCB design with isolated analog and digital power planes. Ten power bugs distribute system power across the rack, while bypass capacitors at each slot support stable electrical performance and reduced signal interference.

  • 60 spring-loop test points for monitoring AC inputs, DC outputs, and diagnostic signals
