The Fluke Networks LinkIQ LIQ-KIT-FMC is a Cable+Network Tester Advanced Kit and Fiber Kit designed to verify cable performance and troubleshoot network connectivity. It supports twisted pair and fiber testing with bandwidth validation up to 10GBASE-T.

Cable and Network Testing Functions

• Cable performance testing up to 10GBASE-T
• Frequency-based measurement to calculate maximum bandwidth (10BASE-T to 10GBASE-T)
• Wiremap and distance to fault
• Cable toning and port blink
• IPv4 and IPv6 ping with nearest switch diagnostics (IP address, name, port/VLAN, advertised data rates)
• Power over Ethernet testing including negotiation and loaded voltage and power tests

Interfaces and Media Support

The tester supports twisted pair and optical fiber media types. Interfaces include RJ-45 network connectivity, USB, and an SFP expansion slot for fiber Ethernet connections at 1 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s.
