Fisher TW9000-CC5 Multi-Frequency Underground Utility Locator

The Fisher TW9000-CC5 is a multi-frequency underground utility locating system employing digital signal processing technology to detect and trace buried conductive utilities. The system consists of a transmitter and receiver designed for active and passive locating applications.

 

Transmitter & Receiver Operating Modes

  • Transmit frequencies: 512Hz, 8.125kHz, 33.025kHz, 82.175kHz
  • Transmitter modes: Direct Connection, Coupling Clamp, Inductive
  • Receiver modes: Peak & Null, Wide Peak, Narrow Peak, Null, Sonde, Passive Power
  • Maximum transmitter output voltage: 90VRMS (30V/60V/90V selectable)
  • Maximum locating depth: 32 ft (10 m)

 

System Architecture & Power

The transmitter is powered by a rechargeable 14.4V lithium-ion battery pack and provides selectable output levels up to 9.5W (frequency dependent). The receiver operates on a rechargeable 26650 lithium-ion battery or two D-cell alkaline batteries and provides signal strength, depth, and current measurement functions.
