The Emerson Ovation 5X00070G03 is an 8-channel high-speed analog input module for the Ovation distributed control system. It converts isolated voltage input signals into digital data for process monitoring and control. It is suited to critical monitoring workflows in power and water environments.
- Routes field voltage signals through the compatible personality module to the electronics module for signal conditioning and analog-to-digital conversion.- Uses eight individually isolated input channels to separate channel signals and support reliable acquisition across multiple measurement points.- Transfers converted measurement data to the Ovation Serial I/O Bus for controller-side processing and monitoring.- Applies selectable 50 Hz or 60 Hz rejection filtering to reduce line-frequency noise during acquisition.
- Supports 8 analog input channels with 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion.- Accepts voltage ranges of ±5 VDC and ±10 VDC.- Provides 5 ms conversion time per channel with user-configurable 50 or 60 samples per second operation.- Delivers system accuracy of ±0.1% of full scale at 25°C with input impedance greater than 10 megohms in voltage mode.- Operates across -40°F to +158°F with 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity.
