Eagle Eye HGD-3000 Battery Room Hydrogen and Smoke Monitoring

The Eagle Eye HGD-3000 is a hydrogen gas and smoke detector series designed for unattended battery installations, charging rooms, and remote shelters. It monitors hydrogen gas, smoke, and temperature while supporting automatic exhaust fan control and alarm signaling.

Confirmed Detection and Alarm Functions

  • Detects hydrogen gas, smoke, and temperature
  • Activates exhaust fan control at 1% hydrogen concentration
  • Provides alarm output at 2% hydrogen concentration
  • Includes local 80 dB horn and flashing red LED alarm indication
  • Uses dry contact switch closures for remote alarming

Battery Shelter Safety Architecture

The HGD-3000 combines a solid-state hydrogen sensor with a photoelectric smoke detector module. When smoke is detected, the unit inhibits exhaust fan operation to avoid feeding outside oxygen into a fire condition.
