The Carlo Gavazzi CA18CLN12NA is a capacitive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of materials. It operates using dielectric sensing principles to detect both metallic and non-metallic objects. Suitable for industrial environments requiring adjustable sensing and stable detection performance.
- Generates an electrostatic field at the sensing face → detects changes caused by object presence - Senses materials based on dielectric constant variation → enables detection of solids and liquids - Adjustable sensitivity via potentiometer → allows tuning to specific material conditions - Non-contact detection → reduces mechanical wear and increases reliability
