The Banner Engineering BA1.53SMTA is a diffuse reflective, bifurcated glass fiber optic cable designed for use with compatible Banner fiber optic amplifiers. It is constructed for elevated temperature environments and confined installation spaces.

Fiber Construction and Sensing Geometry

  • Diffuse reflective sensing configuration with bifurcated glass fibers
  • Tight right-angle, side-view sensing end tip
  • 2.3 mm fiber bundle diameter
  • 7.1 mm sensing end mounting area

Mechanical and Thermal Characteristics

The fiber assembly uses a stainless steel monocoil jacket and stainless steel sensing end material. The cable supports a minimum bend radius of 25 mm and is rated for operation up to 249 Â°C.
