Industrial Power Connection for 60 Amp Equipment

The Appleton ACP6044BC is a Powertite 60 Amp pin and sleeve plug with a 4-wire, 4-pole configuration. It provides industrial power connection for portable or fixed electrical equipment at up to 600 Vac, 250 Vdc, and 50-400 Hz. Typical use includes docks, ports, welders, pumps, compressors, motor generator units, and similar apparatus.

Pin and Sleeve Engagement with Recessed Contacts

- Energized contacts are deeply recessed to reduce accidental touching and minimize exposed arcs.
- The insulator quenches arcing and resists abnormal heat and fire during engagement and separation.
- Mechanical cable clamps provide strain relief at conductor connections.
- Pressure wire terminals allow cable replacement and maintain firm conductor grip.
- Spring contacts provide constant pressure along the contact surface for electrical continuity.

Electrical Ratings and Connection Range

- 60 Amp configuration with 4-wire, 4-pole arrangement.
- Rated for 600 Vac, 250 Vdc, and 50-400 Hz operation.
- Accepts cable diameters from 0.500 to 1.250 inches.
