Alliance Sensors Group S1A AC-LVDT Signal Conditioner for DIN-Rail Systems

The Alliance Sensors Group S1A is a microprocessor-based AC-LVDT signal conditioner designed to interface linear position sensors with industrial control and monitoring systems. The unit mounts on a DIN rail and provides excitation, signal demodulation, and conditioned analog and digital outputs from compatible inductive position sensors.

Sensor Interface and Excitation Control

  • Compatible with AC-LVDT, RVDT, and inductive half-bridge (LVRT) sensors
  • Supports 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-wire sensor configurations
  • User-selectable excitation frequencies of 1 kHz, 3 kHz, 5 kHz, or 10 kHz

Output and Communication Architecture

The S1A provides selectable DC analog outputs and a digital RS-485 interface for multi-drop system integration. Output configuration and calibration can be performed locally using the front-panel controls or remotely via the digital interface.
