Thermal-Magnetic Branch Circuit Protection for Control Panels

Allen-Bradley 1489-M1C100 is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker in the 1489-M family. It provides 10 A thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection with a C trip curve for AC branch circuit and control panel use. The design aligns with UL/CSA branch circuit protection requirements and IEC miniature circuit breaker applications.

Thermal-Magnetic Tripping with C-Curve Response

- A thermal-magnetic trip mechanism responds to overcurrent conditions by opening the circuit path.
- C-curve tripping operates in the 5...10 In range for inductive load response.
- Current-limiting construction and fast breaking time help interrupt fault current quickly.
- A contact-state indicator window shows red for closed and green for open status.

Electrical Ratings and Installation Features

- 1-pole configuration with 10 A continuous current rating.
- UL/CSA maximum voltage is 277V AC, 48V DC; IEC/EN maximum voltage is 230V AC.
- Interrupting capacity is 10 kA under UL/CSA and 15 kA under IEC.
