Delivers fast point-to-point continuity testing for grounded pathways and long-distance connections with polarity reversal, lead compensation, programmable thresholds, and 300 V CAT IV safety.
The AEMC CA 6011 is a point-to-point continuity tester for grounded pathways and conductive connections. It measures continuity across long distances and hard-to-reach locations using continuous operation and a continuity probe workflow. The wrist-worn format supports field commissioning and troubleshooting of bonded non-current-carrying conductive pathways to ground.
Applies current from positive to negative and negative to positive to average results for more accurate continuity measurements.
Continuously measures after power-up, removing the need to press a start or stop button for each test.
Uses lead compensation to reduce the effect of lead resistance during low-resistance measurements.
Supports checking connections over long distances with compatible AEMC ground testing accessories and reel kits.
Continuity mode measures 0.00 to 2.00 Ω and 2.00 to 20.00 Ω with 10 mΩ resolution.
Continuity test currents: 0.00 to 2.00 Ω range (200 mA), 2.00 to 20.00 Ω range (20 mA).
Resistance mode measures 1.0 to 200.0 Ω with 100 mΩ resolution and 10 mA measurement current.
Programmable thresholds of 1 Ω or 2 Ω support pass/fail continuity checking.
300 V CAT IV safety rating supports use in demanding electrical environments.
